Rockferry
Welsh singer Duffy's debut, from the era when she stood alongside Amy Winehouse and Adele as an essential voice — and newly beloved via "Distant Dreamer" as the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean ending theme. The 1LP carries the original 10 tracks; the 2LP colored edition presents the full 17-track deluxe on vinyl for the first time, including the bonus "Stay With Me Baby".
Akira (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Shoji Yamashiro and Geinoh Yamashirogumi's landmark score for Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira, originally issued only in 1988 and now highly sought after. Unlike Symphonic Suite Akira, this edition includes the film's audio and dialogue, with a tracklist identical to the Japanese original but a different sleeve. An unofficial pressing in short supply — no guarantee of another restock.
Tokyo Pulse: Japanese Funk, Modern Soul And City Pop From The Tokyo Scene 1974-88
Tokyo DJ and selector DJ Notoya gathers '70s-'80s Tokyo gems that escaped the City Pop hype cycle: Naomi Chiaki, Yumi Murata, Nami Shimada, Chikara Ueda & The Power Station, Higurashi and more. Bread & Butter's "Memory" features Haruomi Hosono, Tatsuo Hayashi and Shigeru Suzuki. Many tracks see their first official release outside Japan, remastered by Nippon Columbia in Tokyo and cut for vinyl in Paris.
Get At The Wave
Commissioned in 1987 by Sanyo as image music for a high-end air conditioner, originally a promo-only picture disc. Takashi Kokubo blends synthesizers with field recordings of surf and breeze — no attention-grabbing melodies, just a room opened to the sea wind, far from the city's heat and noise. The 2026 reissue is remastered by Kokubo himself, with new cover art he oversaw.
Songs For Sinners
The first album in six years from UK jazz force Moses Boyd (Mercury nominee, MOBO winner). Rooted in the church music he grew up with, it smashes gospel, jazz, London sound-system culture, Caribbean rhythm and 808 bass together — pounding drums, sub-heavy lows and massed choirs building to near-explosive climaxes, as if church, London street and dancefloor shared one record.
Vévés Électriques
French double bassist Kham Meslien's second solo album. Still centered on the bass — bowing, loops and organic textures — it travels from Icelandic northern solitude to the Caribbean and childhood memory. Where Fantômes...Futurs was a solo journey, this one opens the road to company: Roger Raspail on percussion, Laurent Bardainne on sax, David Neerman on vibraphone and Naïssam Jalal on flute and voice, drifting between jazz, ambient and contemporary classical.
Exit Music: Songs With Radio Heads
The 2006 Radiohead tribute, reissued by original label BBE twenty years on. Mark Ronson, Bilal, Sia, Meshell Ndegeocello, Sa-Ra, The Cinematic Orchestra, Osunlade, Matthew Herbert and more recast "Karma Police", "Paranoid Android" and "Everything In Its Right Place" through soul, jazz and electronic lenses.
Exploding In Slow Motion: The Complete Channel The Spirits Recordings 2013-2017CE
The complete early recordings of London trio The Comet Is Coming — Danalogue The Conqueror, Betamax Killer and King Shabaka — built around debut album Channel The Spirits and expanded with pre-2017 material, showing how they fused jazz, electronic sound design and psychedelic energy into vast cosmic sound. A 3LP deluxe edition.
Infernal Affairs (無間道) Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
The soundtrack to the first Infernal Affairs, Hong Kong cinema legend, scored by Chan Kwong Wing — officially licensed from Media Asia Films, pressed in Japan as a limited numbered red vinyl.
Infernal Affairs II (無間道II) Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
The soundtrack to the prequel Infernal Affairs II, scored by Chan Kwong Wing — Media Asia Films licensed, pressed in Japan as a limited numbered yellow vinyl.
Infernal Affairs III (無間道III) Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
The soundtrack to trilogy closer Infernal Affairs III, scored by Chan Kwong Wing — officially licensed on vinyl, pressed in Japan as a limited numbered colored edition; all three are available as a set.
End for the Beginning
Recorded in 1973 on the eve of Masabumi Kikuchi's move to New York, a farewell studio-live session with fans in the room. It returns to a classic two-horn-plus-piano-trio lineup, Kosuke Mine's soprano sax at times sounding like the sho. All five pieces are Kikuchi's, including "Shūu", "Ginkai" and "Green Dance", driven by heavy, restrained grooves. Part of the Project Re:Vinyl series.
POO-SUN
Masabumi Kikuchi's 1970 landmark, named after his longtime nickname, with a twin-keyboard, twin-drum lineup featuring Kosuke Mine, Hideo Ichikawa, Yoshio Ikeda, Motohiko Hino and Hiroshi Murakami. His dreamy lyricism is wrapped in fiercer tension, peaking on the 20-minute "Dancing Mist" — "sharp yet resilient, refined yet visceral," in Yusuke Ogawa's words. Back on vinyl via Project Re:Vinyl.
Scenery
Hokkaido pianist Ryo Fukui only began playing at 22 and cut his debut Scenery at 28. His fresh, delicate touch paints wide, heartfelt northern landscapes that still captivate listeners worldwide, highlighted by the classic "Early Summer". Reissued as a 180g Pure Vinyl audiophile pressing.
A 1977 King Records concept: a soundtrack to a Kindaichi Kosuke film that never existed, built on Seishi Yokomizo's detective. Arranged by Kentaro Haneda with top '70s Tokyo session players, it skips suspense scoring for full-throttle disco funk and jazz-funk — players whose credits run through Tatsuro Yamashita's Spacy, Hosono's Pacific and Akiko Yano's Japanese Girl. Wewantsounds' reissue uses the original masters, Ichibun Sugimoto's classic cover, and an OBI.
