Gorillaz
The self-titled debut of Damon Albarn and cartoonist Jamie Hewlett's virtual band, blending trip-hop, dub, punk and hip-hop, with 'Clint Eastwood' and '19-2000' becoming generational anthems. Reissued here on special colored vinyl.
Demon Days
Gorillaz's Danger Mouse-produced second album — darker and more lavish, home to worldwide hits 'Feel Good Inc.' and 'DARE'. Widely regarded as the virtual band's peak. Special colored-vinyl pressing.
Plastic Beach
The concept third album built around ocean plastic pollution, its guest list running from Snoop Dogg and Lou Reed to Mos Def — bright and colorful yet carrying an ecological warning. Gorillaz's most ambitious pop collage, reissued on special colored vinyl.
Ulterior Motives
Australian instrumental trio Dirty Three's collection of early demos and live radio sessions, originally issued in 2012 as a limited CD sold only at their shows — extremely rare. It captures the band at their rawest and most unbridled, now on 2LP colored vinyl for the first time.
Pylon
Filipino-British singer-songwriter beabadoobee's new studio album on Dirty Hit. From her early debt to Kimya Dawson and the 'Juno' soundtrack, through touring with The 1975 and opening Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, she fuses '90s alt-rock with pop melody — now a leading songwriter of a new indie generation.
Live In Paris 1966 - Lost ORTF Recording
A Paris live recording lost for nearly 60 years. In 1966 Monk led his classic quartet — tenorist Charlie Rouse, bassist Larry Gales, drummer Ben Riley — at Paris's Maison de la Radio, Studio 104. Unearthed by France's Transversales Disques and licensed by the national audiovisual institute INA, it received its first official release in 2024, in a deluxe tip-on jacket with exclusive liner notes.
Live At Pit-Inn Tokyo, Japan, 8-8-1988
It turns out the Sun Ra Arkestra once played Shinjuku's Pit Inn — this precious live set comes from their first Japanese tour in 1988, a 74-year-old Sun Ra leading the band across the country before closing the tour at Pit Inn on August 8. From standards to big-band jazz, the intricate arrangements, astonishing solos and near-telepathic rapport still hold Sun Ra's most mysterious cosmic feel. Original-master mix, 2024 reissue.
ホーホケキョ となりの山田くん オリジナル・フル・サウンドトラック
Studio Ghibli's classic — Isao Takahata's 1999 'My Neighbors the Yamadas' — on vinyl for the first time. Akiko Yano's first-ever film score paints the Yamada family's daily life in delicate piano and includes her self-written, self-sung theme 'Hitoribotchi wa Yameta'. This 2LP gathers the complete film BGM plus orchestral arrangements, in a new jacket with liner notes.
League of Legends Worlds Anthems Vol. 1: 2014-2023
The first vinyl compilation of League of Legends Worlds anthems, pressed on Worlds Blue. From 2014's Imagine Dragons 'Warriors' and 2016's Zedd 'Ignite' to 2022's Lil Nas X 'STAR WALKIN'' and 2023's NewJeans 'GODS' — a decade of esports battle hymns in one place.
H1N1 + Trap of Death
Disbanded Taiwanese death-metal/grindcore veterans ASHEN: their out-of-print 2009 EP 'H1N1' is reissued on cassette 17 years on by purgefluidrecords, with the exclusive late singles 'Trap of Death' and 'Poison is Well'. Rooted in the violent lineage of Nasum and Napalm Death — short, explosive, devastating. Limited reissue with an interview with mastermind Bruce.
50th Anniversary Studio Album Collection, Part One: 1980-1992
Iron Maiden's 50th-anniversary studio-album box, Part One, gathering their crucial first nine albums from 1980–1992 across ten limited colored LPs. From the self-titled debut, 'Killers' and 'The Number of the Beast' through 'Fear of the Dark', each pressed in its own distinct color — an essential collection for metal fans.
1989-1992
A Beethobear exclusive! Not the Sea Horses of a certain Stone Roses guitarist, but a North England band that circulated briefly in the late-'80s/early-'90s UK DIY underground before fading away. Richard Veal wrote dark, dreamy folk laced with pastoral and liturgical elements; Clare Williams's soprano and the Bromley twins' harmonies carry an almost nave-like solemnity. These period recordings get their first-ever complete release — exceptionally rare.
Reborn
Kavinsky, who died suddenly this year, made 'Reborn' his final proper album — reissued here as a 2LP set. If 'OutRun' made his name, 'Reborn' is what he truly wanted to leave behind: nine years in the making, polished at late producer Philippe Zdar's (Cassius) Motorbass studio, more mature and musical than 'OutRun', marking the last meeting of two key figures in French electronic music.
Ask Me Tomorrow
Released in 1995 and never repressed by 4AD in thirty years — used copies start at US$90. Now an official reissue at last, freshly remastered at Abbey Road. It plays almost like a fourth Slowdive album — their early sound recast in acoustic guitars, dreamy and diffuse yet warmed into something new, its melancholy descending from Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake.
Persona
iam8bit and Atlus team up again for a best-of Persona cassette collection with cover art by Drew Wise. Four tapes gather the essentials from Persona 1 & 2, 3, 4 and 5 — a set worth owning for video-game-music fans.
Led by legendary LA pianist Horace Tapscott, the Pan-Afrikan Peoples Arkestra whose influence reaches the Kamasi Washington generation. Built on Afrocentric rhythms, hypnotic bass lines and Tapscott's sharp modal piano, it moves between spiritual, modal and free jazz. Recorded in early 1979 at LA's Immanuel United Church of Christ, it was the peak-era band's only official live release — essential to understanding 1970s LA underground spiritual jazz.
