Saigon Supersound Volume 1
The first volume in a landmark compilation of Saigon's pop music from 1954–1975, capturing the diverse styles born from the city's tangled political, colonial and geographic history — a rich fusion of East and West. Long sought-after, restocked in small quantity.
Saigon Supersound Volume 2
The second volume of Saigon Supersound continues the deep excavation of Vietnam's golden-era pop, charting the shifting focus and proliferating styles of the period.
Saigon Supersound Volume 3
The concluding chapter of the Saigon Supersound trilogy, completing a portrait of Saigon's musical development — an essential volume documenting a rare and hard-to-preserve musical history.
Graceless
A record from American deathcore pioneers Suicide Silence, issued on limited pearl-white vinyl. Signature ferocious growls and crushing riffs. Releasing in November.
No Time To Bleed
Suicide Silence's second album on white vinyl, distilling the band's most destructive early deathcore energy. Releasing in November.
Free Spirits
The Argentine oddball duo returns, having taken Best Latin Rock and Alternative Album honours. Twelve brand-new tracks with collaborators including Sting, Anderson .Paak, Jack Black and Fred Again — now finally on colored vinyl.
Someone Else
An Athens-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer steeped in 60s–70s library music, jazz and orchestral pop. His debut grew from an experiment — could one person build the sound of a full orchestra alone? Recorded track by track at home, its layered real strings feel psychedelic and cinematic. Out late September on Veego Records.
Dreams & Whispers
The Warsaw producer (known as Earth Trax across deep house, techno and IDM) sets the dancefloor aside here, weaving warm vibraphone, arpeggios and layered strings into shimmering, delicate sound. Split into 'Dreams' and 'Whispers', it's a quiet, dreamlike ambient work. First issued in 2024, now repressed on yellow vinyl.
kettle
Spitz's 18th album, their first in roughly three and a half years, gathering 13 tracks — including the drama theme 'Mishiranu Ito', the Gogo no Koucha ad song 'Kitsune no Botan', and 'Hi wo Mamoru', the Season 3 opening for SPY×FAMILY. Available on SHM-CD. Out 11/25.
Massive Shoe
The solo project of Melbourne's Dylan Young — a Nick Drake-like gentle intimacy laced with the melodicism of Harry Nilsson, Paul McCartney and 70s soft rock. His third solo album and first international release, largely self-produced and performed, its tender falsetto recalls the quiet grace of Hosono's Sincerely. Out on Jagjaguwar.
In Need Of ...
A Beckie Bell soul/funk rarity, in small quantity at UOU.
A Message From Mozambique
Ju Ju's 1973 spiritual free-jazz classic, led by saxophonist Oluyemi Thomas.
Flash of the Spirit
Jon Hassell's 1988 Fourth World landmark made with Burkinabé percussion ensemble Farafina.
Bring Our Light To Every Corner
Championed by Gilles Peterson and Jamie Cullum, the South London producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Scrimshire returns to his own Albert's Favourites label. Inspired by Charles Stepney and David Axelrod, and joined by Dwight Trible, Idris Rahman and Indian classical vocalist Mahesh Kale, he threads expansive 60s folk-soul and jazz into one moving, heartfelt journey.
Mandrill Is
Brooklyn funk legends Mandrill at their wildest and most fully-formed — a cult favorite officially reissued by Vampisoul on 180g vinyl. Funk at its core, roaming through jazz, soul, Latin percussion and psychedelic rock, recorded entirely at Electric Lady Studios; includes 'Ape Is High' and the Santana-tinged 'Cohelo'.
White Morning
A multi-instrumentalist active in the 80s–90s, Fumio Miyashita forged his own path in healing, meditation and ambient music through Eastern philosophy. This record holds just two 25-minute pieces, soft synth glow flowing slowly, tuning directly to the listener's nervous system and breath. First vinyl pressing after 35 years — for fans of Hiroshi Yoshimura and Satoshi Ashikawa.
The self-titled debut from South 1998 (formerly South) — perhaps the most ECM-flavored record in early Jagjaguwar's catalog. Pat Metheny-clean guitar and intricate chords drift into Steve Reich-like hypnotic loops, dulcimer and vibraphone interlacing across ambient, minimalism and post-rock. For Jagjaguwar's 30th anniversary, this near-30-year-old work gets its first vinyl pressing.
