At The Emerald Pool
A luminous guitar duo from Tomo Katsurada (ex-Kikagaku Moyo) and Dutch musician Jonny Nash. Psychedelic, lightly distorted guitars soak into damp, breathy vocals — sometimes sweet as dream pop, sometimes like ambient folk in morning mist, the two guitars entwining until their edges blur. Essential if you loved Nash's Once Was Ours Forever.
This Mirror Weighs A Ton
The New York post-punk revivalists return with a record that plays like a conversation with themselves. Their signature chill, tension and restraint remain intact, but this time synths, strings and acoustic guitar are woven subtly into the arrangements — an elegant evolution that keeps the original soul firmly in hand.

One of the most anticipated new shoegaze voices in years — Minneapolis's She's Green make their vinyl debut. Within roaring walls of guitar, Zofia Smith's soft, airy, murmuring vocals cut straight to the core; the band jokingly calls their style 'moss music.'
